About the event

About the event

SALA brings together the Latin American artificial intelligence ecosystem.
We accomplish this primarily through our biennial conference, connecting local AI talent and stakeholders—from academia, industry, and government—with global experts, resources, and opportunities.

Guest Lectures

Guest Lectures

This year’s format is designed to create a unique, fully-immersive experience. In the morning, we kick off with guests lectures from renowned AI researchers from leading universities and tech companies.

Hackathon

Hackathon

The event hosts a hackathon, where teams form to tackle challenging, real-world, and impactful projects. Last year’s hackathon was a great success, and the winners obtained a scholarship to attend Khipu 2025!
